Congressional Approval Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever

YIKES. 9 % ????

Congressional Approval Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever

Tuesday, July 08, 2008

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

Last month, 11% of voters gave the legislature good or excellent ratings. Congress has not received higher than a 15% approval rating since the beginning of 2008.

The percentage of Democrats who give Congress positive ratings fell from 17% last month to 13% this month. The number of Democrats who give Congress a poor rating remained unchanged. Among Republicans, 8% give Congress good or excellent ratings, up just a point from last month. Sixty-five percent (65%) of GOP voters say Congress is doing a poor job, down a single point from last month.

Voters not affiliated with either party are the most critical of Congressional performance. Just 3% of those voters give Congress positive ratings, down from 6% last month. Sixty-three percent (63%) believe Congress is doing a poor job, up from 57% last month.

Just 12% of voters think Congress has passed any legislation to improve life in this country over the past six months. That number has ranged from 11% to 13% throughout 2008. The majority of voters (62%) say Congress has not passed any legislation to improve life in America.

Voters hold little positive sentiment about the future. Just 41% find it at least somewhat likely that Congress will address important problems facing our nation in the near future, while 55% find this unlikely.

Despite these negative attitudes towards Congress, Democrats continue to enjoy a double digit lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

Most voters (72%) think most members of Congress are more interested in furthering their own political careers. Just 14% believe members are genuinely interested in helping people.

A separate Rasmussen survey found that half of all voters believe America’s best days are in the past. However, another survey found that 64% of voters also believe that the world would be a better place if more countries were similar to the United States.

Hmmm..this sounds kinda,,familiar?

Back in 1992 there was a movie that came out called the 'distinguished gentleman'.
It was about a con man who cons his way into getting elected...

His speech, his....message, kinda rang a little familiar to me. I don't know where I've heard it.
I can't quite place it...
Hmm a CON man who cons his way into congress...

I don't know...Maybe someone out there can help me out? Does it seem familiar to YOU?
Just a little bit?
(I thought so).

My very "special" friend...'countsy.'

We all have special friends. You know the type. Those that you hold the cup up for them to take a little sip from, and they do so-- and dribble all over their shirts. Unleashing a torrent of chewed up pizza that they had been working on for the past hour but just forgot to take that extra step of commitment and actually swallow, so it ends up floating in said glass of beverage. Those special friends that look up at you after spitting up all over themselves and look into your eyes with their one non lazy eye and say to you: "TOR GOOOOD ! TOR FORHEAD IS SMMOOOOVE! SMOOOVE...TOR GOOD!"
And then let out a big ole unforgiving wet oatmeal fart. Of which they giggle maniacally, while making sure to squeeze out every last ounce of farty goodness.

We all have those 'special' friends. In short...We all know a democrat or three.

I know many. One of those that I speak of is a guy that goes by the name of "countfunkypants"
On countsy's bloggy, he has listed that obama is basking in a 15 point bounce. Based off of a 'newsweek' poll.

Countsy....I realize that you are looking for anything to boost your side. So if you hear from oberman (spelled incorrectly on purpose) that obama has a 45 point bounce, you will believe it. Newsweek is always...ALWAYS unreliable.
Just about every poll...every RELIABLE poll, from Gallup to Rasmussen to even zogby (which isn't as reliable as Rasmussen's) has this thing polled with obama having a 4 point lead. Basically a statistical dead heat.

Now, even I thought that obama would get that bounce once he was nominated after hillary fell out. But...it never happened.
And THATS astonishing. And worrisome for your side.
Being that Bush has low ratings and congress has low ratings and the mood of the country is what it is, and with Hillary finally out, and just the precedent of the other party coming in after a two term Presidency...you would think that this would be a walk away. Wouldn't you?

Nope..Dead heat.

Which says that the public is looking at obama and they are very VERY hesitant.

Now I'm not cocky about this. This COULD go either way. And he COULD come up with a 15 point lead. Its possible. Depends on if the public drinks from the stupid juice.

OR
If they continue to wake up and see just what is at stake and the RISKS that are involved with electing a black separatist, leftist and her weenie spined Carter'esque husband....then we'll be ok.

BUT...

There is always the chance that the country is asleep at the wheel..complacent...apathetic...lazy. And therefore drink from the stupid juice.

You know....the same juice dribbling down your chin.

I do have my hopes though. Especially since there is the issue of the energy problem, which is not looking good for your side. Looks like nancy is giving ground on that one. Look for more ground to be given up. Unless she wants to go down with the ship on it.

Heres another reliable poll for you..

TO DRILL OR NOT TO DRILL...

Well its been a pretty interesting week so far. McCain finally sees the light on opening up to the idea of drilling. And wouldn't you know it....so does the public at large.

In McCains case, he is simply coming over to the correct side....THE RIGHT SIDE.
Of which has always been the Conservative position.
"We MUST DRILL IN OUR OWN AREAS."

It makes no sense to NOT do that. Its idiotic.

An idiotic line that has been the democrats position and sadly....many Americans.
When things are nice and tidy it gives folk...smart folk...reason to turn off your old nogging and just stop thinking logically. You become lazy.
You don't think about the ramifications of your actions (or in this case- non action)....

Until it comes up and bites you in the ass.

Hey all my leftist pals . How ya like paying 4.00$ per gallon of gas?
Hey "countsy"!! How much is it costing to fill your car these days?
How bout you "Robo"? (what am I doing? Robo is a pod person from invasion of the body snatchers. So never mind the question. Go back to sleep.)

Now my lefty friends are quick to say...ITS THE GAS COMPANIES! ITS THE OIL COMPANIES.

Their idea is to TAX the oil companies because they don't like the idea of those companies making the 'profits' that they are making.
There is so much stupidity to this 'idea' that one has to just choose a few items to illustrate how dumb it is.

1) who cares how much the oil companies are making. It does not matter! The reason? It has NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW MUCH GAS COSTS.
The oil companies don't set the costs for gas. It is A WORLD MARKET. IT IS a WORLD DEMAND.

So...being that taxing them would have no impact on lowering the gas price, what WOULD it do?

2) It would RAISE THE COSTS. Because not only are you NOT doing anything productive about the issue, you hinder it by TOTALLY HOG-TIE'ING the companies that are trying to GET the oil.

Hello? Beauler? Hello??

Obama.
Well, here is the butt-ah! Obama said himself, what really ALL of the democrats feel.
When asked about how he felt about the rise in gas costs...
Obama said that he didn't mind that they were high, but he just would have preferred that the rise were more Gradual. A "gradual adjustment rather than a shock to the system".
Why? Because its a way to bind...YOU! To force you conform to their nutty extremist ways.

And then the public:
The public, in their want to remain the ones on the "green highground"...now finds out the folly of turning a blind eye to this issue by not wanting to take advantage of OUR OWN RESOURCES.
The folly of listening to the idiocy of the leftist enviro nutters and leftist no nothing democrats.

Only now, after being faced to look at the CONSEQUENCE of such laziness...at up to 4.00$ (and the very real possibility of a higher cost!) a gallon, are now open to drilling.

And with McCain and Bush touting the OTHER thing that conservatives have been FOR while the democrats have been AGAINST due to some irrational fear.....that other thing?

Nuclear energy.

Look for the public to now look more favorably to that as well.

Nuclear energy. Cheaper, cleaner, more efficient. And plentiful. Not to mention safe.
The one thing that the french have been good for is being a guinea pig on this issue.
They have been using nuclear for some time, and it is now powering up to 79 % of their needs.

Now I ask you. IF alternatives such as Nuclear, along with relying on our OWN RESOURCES such as drilling in our areas...things that have been touted by conservatives for a loooong time..
IF we were doing this 10 years ago....5 years ago.......3 years ago..

Would we be in the position we are in now?
Would we be paying 4.00$ per gallon of gas?

With polls saying that the public has finally woken up to this question..anywhere from 60% (reuters) to 80% (washington post) backing drilling...Its an issue that the dems find themselves on the losing end of. And the public finds themselves beginning to ask themselves the question..
"Is this what we have to look forward to with a total democrat takeover?"

Answer:

Yes.

AND ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST..

Yet another one to be thrown under the bus by the obama troop.

Lets see...there was his lifelong mentor pastor wright, rev plegor (sp), tony rezko, and of course obamas grandmother. And now, jim johnson due to his suspicious sweetheart deals.
That space under the bus is getting abit crowded.

*****

Longtime Washington insider Jim Johnson became the first casualty of the general election campaign Wednesday, leaving his seat on Barack Obama’s running-mate search team after coming under fire for his lucrative ties to financial corporations and lenders.

Johnson, a former Fannie Mae CEO who also helped vet running mates for Walter Mondale in 1984 and John Kerry in 2004, stepped down following reports that he received favorable loan terms from a mortgage lender that Obama has criticized sharply on the campaign trail.

“Jim did not want to distract in any way from the very important task of gathering information about my vice presidential nominee, so he has made a decision to step aside that I accept,” Obama said in a statement issued after three days of criticism.

Though there appears to have been nothing illegal about Johnson’s actions, John McCain’s campaign has used his prominent role in the Obama campaign to portray the presumptive Democratic nominee as hypocritical.

And when Johnson stepped down Wednesday, the McCain campaign attacked Obama for caving to pressure.

“Jim Johnson’s resignation raises serious questions about Barack Obama’s judgment,” spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement, adding “the American people have reason to question the judgment of a candidate who has shown he will only make the right call when under pressure from the news media. America can’t afford a president who flip-flops on key questions in the course of 24 hours.”

The crossfire portends the scrutiny that every campaign aide or adviser easily could face in the months leading to the November election.

During the Democratic primary, Obama and Hillary Clinton each waved goodbye to several aides and advisers who in some way had offended the other side. Obama foreign policy adviser Samantha Power left after calling Clinton a “monster” in an interview with a Scottish newspaper. Geraldine Ferraro, a former vice presidential candidate, left her seat on Clinton’s finance team after saying Obama was being aided politically by his race.

The general election campaign formally began last week, when Obama clinched the Democratic nomination, and Johnson swiftly became an early target of Republicans.

The Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend that Johnson received favorable loan terms from lender Countrywide Financial Corp., a firm Obama has criticized for contributing to the home mortgage crisis. That report opened the door for several other reports, including by The Washington Post and The New York Times, which revisited Johnson’s history with Fannie Mae before the company drew the scrutiny of regulators and his role on several boards granting hefty payouts to CEOs.

Don’t expect Johnson’s exit to end criticism about either candidate’s campaign team.

The Republican National Committee released a statement Wednesday saying, “If Barack Obama is concerned his campaign’s ties to special interests are distracting from his VP search and message, why is Eric Holder still on his search committee?”

Holder, a former deputy attorney general, has come under fire by Republicans for his role in helping fugitive financier Marc Rich get a pardon from President Clinton. He is still on the running-mate search team for Obama along with Caroline Kennedy.

Meanwhile, Johnson continued to garner kind words from Democrats on Wednesday, despite his exit from the Obama campaign.

“We have a very good selection process underway, and I am confident that it will produce a number of highly qualified candidates for me to choose from in the weeks ahead. I remain grateful to Jim for his service and his efforts in this process,” Obama said in his statement.

Kerry, speaking with reporters on a conference call Wednesday, praised Johnson for the work he did four years ago and said the criticism is just “one of those … Washington grab stories.”

“Jim Johnson is a very experienced, very discreet, very capable individual who is performing a voluntary function without pay … he’s not seeking a job,” Kerry said.

“Jim Johnson is a capable guy. He has been vetting VPs for a while,” Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean told MSNBC on Wednesday. He said Johnson just was doing a volunteer job, and “this is nothing to do with special interests and influence in the campaign, unlike John McCain.”

After McCain on Monday called the Johnson connection a “contradiction” for Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee told reporters he can’t be expected to track down the mortgage history of his search committee members.

“I would have to hire the vetter to vet the vetters,” Obama said in St. Louis, Mo., on Tuesday, adding that Johnson was not technically working for him since he was an unpaid volunteer.

Obama strategist David Axelrod repeated that argument in an interview Wednesday morning.

“We honestly didn’t ask him for his mortgage statements of his financials and I don’t think anyone would expect us to,” he told MSNBC. “We can’t vet all the vetters.”

McCain’s campaign went after Obama on Tuesday for being “in a state of denial” about Johnson’s role in the campaign and his past taking “sweetheart deals” from Countrywide.

democrats..in a rare moment of truth telling.

The moments when you get truth from democrats on what it is that they REALLY want, are when they ACCIDENTALLY let it slip out.
What I love about this clip is that even her own democrat colleagues are laughing at her in the background.

Here chicky chicky chicky.....

McCain, Obama fail to agree on town halls

Associated Press

"Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Friday rejected Republican rival John McCain's proposal for 10 joint town-hall appearances, offering instead to have just one on the July 4 holiday.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said he offered to meet McCain in five joint appearances between now and the Nov. 4 election. But only one of those was a town-hall meeting, plus three traditional debates and an in-depth debate on foreign policy.

The McCain campaign said Obama's offer was to hold the single town hall on Independence Day _ which likely would have resulted in less attention while Americans are on holiday. McCain told reporters traveling with him in New Jersey that was "a very disappointing response."

McCain had said the more intimate town-hall format, a give-and-take between a candidate and the audience, would allow real interaction with voters and would be more revealing than formal televised debates. Town halls are also McCain's favorite style of campaigning and would allow him to get free media attention alongside the better-funded Obama.

When a McCain adviser first floated the idea last month, Obama said it was a great idea. But the Illinois senator told reporters Tuesday that it's not realistic to have 10 town halls with all the other campaigning he needs to do after just clinching the Democratic Party's nomination months after McCain wrapped up the GOP nod.

The two campaigns have been unable to work out a deal, other than to agree that the town halls should not be sponsored by media organizations and instead be open to all networks like presidential debates. The two sides on Sunday jointly rejected an offer by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and ABC News to host the first town hall for that reason.

Plouffe tried to place the blame on McCain for refusing to agree, saying five joint appearances "would have been the most of any presidential campaign in the modern era, offering a broad range of formats and representing a historic commitment to openness and transparency."

"It's disappointing that Senator McCain and his campaign decided to decline this proposal. Apparently they would rather contrive a political issue than foster a genuine discussion about the future of our country," Plouffe said.

McCain responded during a brief news conference in Pemberton, N.J., where he traveled for his own town hall.

"I'll let the American people decide which is the preferable proposal," he said. "I want the American people to have the exposure to a number of town hall meetings, not just one.""

Now I don't think that obama would do lousy at these things. But I do think that he knows he is far less effective on these types of platforms than he is with a prepared text in front of him.

Its called thinking on your feet. The more I see him out there on a Q&A format, the more curious I am about how GOOD he actually is at it.

You would think that a guy who has spoken in 57 (or is it 60?) states and who has conversations with dead people, would be a pretty good on his feet.

Or maybe it's just cracks in the illusion. The illusion known as 'obama'.

'McCain invites obama to Iraq'

McCain invites Obama to Iraq

'The Australian'

DID someone say road trip?

Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting John McCain has offered to take his likely Democractic counterpart Barack Obama to Iraq to "educate him" on the real situation there.

Senator McCain has said Senator Obama has not been to Iraq in more than two years, since before the so-called troops surge announced by President George W. Bush at the start of 2007.

He has said the country has been transformed since then and Senator Obama cannot have a credible policy on Iraq unless he returns there to see the improvements in security.

"Look at what happened in the last two years since Senator Obama visited and declared the war lost," Senator McCain has told the Associated Press. "He really has no experience or knowledge or judgment about the issue of Iraq and he has wanted to surrender for a long time."

"If there was any other issue before the American people, and you hadn't had anything to do with it in a couple of years, I think the American people would judge that very harshly."

Senator McCain supports a long-term US military commitment in Iraq, but Senator Obama wants to start withdrawing troops.

The Republican candidate once spoke of a "100-year" deployment, but later claimed he was just using the figure to make the point that he was thinking many years ahead.

A supporter of Senator McCain floated the idea of a joint visit over the weekend. On cue, Senator McCain said he was supportive of the idea.

"I would also seize that opportunity to educate Senator Obama along the way," he said.

*******

'Educate' indeed. Just make sure that he brings his 'binky'.

Yet again...sigh...

obama when there aren't any teleprompters around...

Well its getting out there that the great orator whose lofty prepared speeches that SOAR as on eagles wings...when off promptor is more like a lame drunk duck with a gimpy left foot. Just plodding along. Barely aware of any facts and hardly able to string an entire sentence together.

Give him a prepared speach that someone else has written for him and a teleprompter....aces.
But get him without......THUD.

Yeah..lets get junior to those town hall meetings, shall we?

Democrats against obama...

Its kinda interesting that the dems dont even trust giving junior the keys to the car.

Its telling. (not to mention a very good ad!)

OBAMA close pal and fundraiser , CONVICTED.

The day that obama has clinched the nomination for the socialists, also saw his very close friend and fund raiser AND financier of his big ole house (quite possibly by illegal means that are being looked into) has been found GUILTY in 16 of 24 COUNTS of corruption.

AP:
...""The nine-week trial included explosive testimony about drug-fueled parties involving the government's star witness and allegations that the governor discussed a state job for a donor after the donor handed over a $25,000 check for GOV Blagojevich's (A DEMOCRAT)campaign.""

Tony Rezko, being a very close friend and fundraiser of obamas and who also under a cloud of suspicious means bought helped obama fund his house, just shows once again....That obama has no problem hanging with this crowd because ...well....this is who he feels comfy with...people just like him.

Gonna git interesting up in here. Especially with the possibility of Rezko cutting a deal?

Hmmmmmm interesting indeed.

obama about to 'clinch' nomination..

So obama is about to 'clinch' the nomination and yet there is still the thorn named hillary. I love it. What is even more yummy is that hillary is looking to upset obama in s dakota.
So...she'll go to the convention with yet even more evidence that she herself would be the most worthy opponent to John McCain. And that it should be HER that goes up against him.

Not obama.

Well I think that she may have a very good case to take to the convention.
Will she succeed? No ...Prolly not.

But it makes for some wonderful drama to the freakshow that we have come to know as the democratic primaries. Otherwise known as the march of the asses. (dumb assess, but that would be redundant).

SO what should we expect now that the democrat messiah has clinched the nomination? Well, in short a bump for obama in the polls. medium to large..
But short lived as there will now be a focus on the general...and no way to escape the blaring differences between the two candidates. With a whole lot of bitterness between the two democrat camps.

This could go any which way. And just so ya know....I sit here....smiling.

(EDIT): obama is pictured with a camel...He is the one on the far lower right.

Obama Leaves Trinity Church To Save His Political Career

....So let me see IF I have this correct.
Obama listens to this kinda stuff for 20 years. 20 YEARS....And only NOW because its being broadcast (THANKS in large part to outlets like You tube and radio that the 'mainstream news HAS NO CHOICE but to cover it)..NOW he thinks its time to go??

Phoony and a liar. Rev Pleger apparently is A VERY good friend of obamas. Good enough to get an 'earmark kickback' for his pal phleger.

What'cha think countsy? Or is this another thing you will ignore (and keep noticeably silent) as with the progress in Iraq. Notice how THAT is no longer a 'talking point' for your leftist anti-American side? Just sayin...

Soon I'll have a post up about animation and art . I wanted to have TWO up by now but everytime I go to do it, theres more news coming from the embarrassing debacle known as the democratic primaries. Stay tuned.

REV PHLEGER...obamas OTHER pastor and close friend.

a week ago, rev Michael Phleger was invited to "trinity church"...Yes that 'trinity church'..obamas church, to give a guest sermon. This segment contains some of what he said.

Since he announced he was going to run for prez, very little was known about obama. Since that time, much has come out. Alot of it being the people and places that he considers close friends and life mentors.
The latest being rev Phleger and the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayres (of the 'weather underground', of whose home was where obama decided to launch his presidential bid).

The term : 'you know a man by the company he keeps' has never been more telling then those who obama calls 'friend'. (and perhaps 'robo' >:)

And we certainly know the reasons why obamas shrew wife has come to state that she wasnt proud to call herself proud of her country until obama ran for prez.
The reason is that she has listened to morons like phleger and wright for over 20 YEARS. In that den of thieves called "trinity church".

..By more than 30 points...

After the Kentucky votes have been counted, It looks like the messiah known as obama, has lost kentucky by MORE THAN 30 POINTS.

MORE THAN 30 POINTS!!

and lost West Virginia by over 40 points.

Thats pretty astonishing.
I know that a blogger 'pal' of mine, has a new post touting obamas 70,000 'audience'.
What he fails to tell , is that how many of those were ALREADY there to see some free live music.

The truth is in the counts. The loss of west virginia and kentucky by such HUGE margins at this point in 'messiahs' much touted run is extremely telling.

So is the close running with McCAIN in a dead heat with him.

I mean..shouldn't obama have wrapped this up by now?
Shouldn't he be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ahead of McCain?

Its going to be a head to head fight. That much is sure. Even if he takes the shrew (hillary) as a running mate . (which is very doubtful) Its gonna be a close one. This is up for grabs.

Let the games begin.

YOUR DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS AT WORK. (barely)

****
AP: WASHINGTON - The House overwhelmingly rejected President Bush's veto Wednesday of a $290 billion farm bill, but what should have been a stinging defeat for the president became an embarrassment for Democrats. Only hours before the House's 316-108 vote, Bush had vetoed the five-year measure, saying it was too expensive and gave too much money to wealthy farmers when farm incomes are high. The Senate then was expected to follow suit quickly. Action stalled, however, after the discovery that Congress had omitted a 34-page section of the bill when lawmakers sent the massive measure to the White House. That means Bush vetoed a different bill from the one Congress passed, raising questions that the eventual law would be unconstitutional.

The White House, almost gleefully, seized on the fumble and said the mix-up could give Congress time to fix the "bloated" bill.

"We are trying to understand the ramifications of this congressional farm bill foul-up. We haven't found a precedent for a congressional blunder of this magnitude," said Scott Stanzel, a White House spokesman. "It looks like it may be back to square one for them."

Ted.

For those of you that know me, you probably know that I cant stand the Kennedy's. I can't stand the party that they are in. And I can't stand just about everything that they stand for.
This ridiculous overrated family and their ridiculous ways and views.
And if you think that I was standing with arms raised up and fists clenched screaming "YES!!! THANK YOU!!", when the news came down just a short time ago that he had a malignant brain tumor...........you would be wrong.

I prayed for him instead.

I wouldnt wish this on any enemy. Not any of them. I have this fear in the pit of my stomach for him and his family. And I pray for strength courage and yeah...a FULL RECOVERY for him.

When conservative show host Laura Ingraham was diagnosed with breast cancer, the liberal blogs were abuzz with happiness and cheers of delight. They posted some of the most vile things wishing her a fast death and saying that their hopes are finally being realized.
The same thing was being posted about Rush, Cheney and others that were diagnosed with health challenges.

The most hateful things have been written in leftist blogs, wishing death to conservatives....Just because they have differing views and values than they (leftists) do.

Now to be fair, their is SOME of that on the right as well...but no where...NOWHERE near as much as what is on the left.

When John Edwards wife was diagnosed with cancer, you did NOT see any ill will towards her. Quite the opposite. There was hope and prayer to her and her family. I was one of those that did just that. (of which you can find in this very blog if you go back and look for it)

The point? Self evident. Different types of people, the ones on the right and the ones on the left.

One side is truly "open minded, kind, happy, inclusive, positive, lovers of life, and tolerant"

The other side are 'democrats'

You are in our prayers Ted Kennedy. I pray for a speedy and full recovery for you. Strength and courage for you and your family.

Obama: "I've been to...uhh...57 states.."

HAH! What I really really like is that he says, I've been to 57 states, with ONE LEFT TO GO. Oh! but Alaska and Hawaii I wasn't allowed to go to.."
Sooo...whats the count then....
57 states that hes GONE to, with ONE left to go..
That brings the number toooo 58?
Oh no, no..We haven't been to Alaska and Hawaii...but if you put those in the mix, thats...60?

OBAMA 08!

{Empty + Suit = obama}

Alas po' hillary...

Well, the counts are in !

Obama destroys hil/bill in North Carolina while Hil/bill barely eaks out obama in Indiana.
The feeling has been for some time that its over for hil/bill and with her near loss of Indiana she will be getting more and more pressure to "get out".

"For sake of the party...get out!!"

So we'll see what happens as she DESPERATELY tries to get Florida and Michigan counted.
("count every vote".....indeed.)

I have had some pals actually accuse me of WANTING hillary to win, SAYING: "You just think that she would be easier to win against."

Let me assure you...that that couldn't be further from the truth. I've said it before, I'll say it again....I don't think one of these socialist bozo's would be any easier to beat than the other. It's gonna be a hard battle no matter who wins on their side.

But what I do want, is them to continue this internal fight as long as possible. Because it allows us to see what they are all about. And we (the good guys) don't have to fire a shot (politically speaking).
We get to see how the "unifiers" and "positive candidates" and "candidates of change"....literally RIP EACHOTHER APART.

As we get to the end of the primaries and starting to see the start line of the general...I think its safe to say....

.......we (the good guys)...have alot, ALOT of ammunition, and we're ready to roll.

EDIT:

Oh yeah..I almost forgot. What I predict.
I predict that Hilary will stay in..as she says. But not to win this. I think she'll stay in , in an effort to try and play nice with barack. To try and mend some SHATTERED fences!
Wont work.

IS TONIGHT THE END...

...Or will the fight on the democrat side keep going on through June?

Well to this wiley, full bottomed handsome man, it looks as if its going on. And I'm hoping that it goes to the convention.
As we stand, obama looks to be taking North Carolina, while hillary is leading in Indiana.
ALSO: Hillary seems to be putting the pressure to have the votes count in Florida and Michigan.
Again..Would someone, ANYONE tell me why a party (once upon a time) would fight so hard to count the votes of florida and recount and recount AND RECOUNT those votes under the guise that "EVERY VOTE MUST COUNT!".....And when seven years later, that same party just doesn't seem to care if TWO ENTIRE STATES aren't counted at all?

Make sense to anyone? (chirp chirp chirp)

And whats even more fun, is that this everyone who HAS voted and who HAS been counted around the country..There are these things called "super delegates"(read: Party Elite")...
...the actual voter may have his vote pretty much VETO'ED. Nullified. THROWN OUT......

"EVERY VOTE MUST BE COUNTED".......uh huh. Yeah...sure.

The dems cant even do their own primaries correctly and they want us to turn over the keys to the country?
Well take a good look folks. Take a goooood long look. This is the government (in a small style way), that you will be getting.

One of the most beneficial things to come from the drawn out dem primary, is that we get to see them be exposed for what they are:

Bureaucratic hypocritical, elitist nightmares.

So fight on dems.......fight on.

TRAITOR JANE...ENDORSES.......obama.

NOW...For the longest time, I have been wondering WHICH of the two democratic candidates ole traitor jane would choose to throw her support to. Who she would put her voice behind.

Oh, I had my suspicions of course but I was just waiting....patiently for this complete fool to come out and voice who it is that SHE (Oh, wise lefty that she is) , who it is that she thinks most comes closest to how she herself thinks. Who best embodies her 'values' (so called).

Who is most like her.

Last Thursday while at work, I almost fell out of my chair when I heard the news on the radio..

"JANE FONDA ENDORSES OBAMA"

Does it get any better than that? Now tell me...how can you be a democrat and NOT be embarrassed by that?
Well you cant. Not really. On the forums that I frequent I had alot of fun with it, I can tell you that!
The feel I get from those lefties is more of "oh shes not really relevant anymore!"
As usual...missing the point. Entirely.
And not at all true by the way.
If it were true that she weren't "relevant" . Why not have her tour with you? Be alongside you as you hit the campaign trail? Shes well known . Why not?
Academy award winner, toting the obama flag (white flag, thank you very much).

Why? Because she is exactly the symbol that obama doesn't want. The symbol that parallels his foreign policies. Not dressed up like a pig with lipstick, with flowery rhetoric.

But the sheer TRUTH of it. The REALITY of it.

The picture I posted is an interesting one. While this brainless, moraly vapid individual grins and giggles like some little cheerleader at a homecoming dance. Sitting on a gun turret (the very same kind that shot down a plane of a one John McCain), wearing her little helmet....

Somewhere at that very moment, (maybe in one of those tents directly in back of her in that photo).....Somewhere, good men are being killed. Good men are being brutally tortured.

...and one of those men..

..was a man by the name of.......John McCain.

Obama: "Grandmother....A 'typical white person'.

..."He denied his grandmother held hatred toward blacks, but described her as a “typical white person.”

Wow. Obama ..... This was said on the 20th on a radio interview. AFTER his speech on race (which didn't address any of the issues that hes been hit on.)

Seems like Obama is showing himself to be pretty much the opposite of what he has been campaigning on.

Stay TUNED!! Theres going to be more! MUCH MUCH MORE!

"Obama recieves endorsement from the New Black Panther Party"

BLack Panther Party :" Your one of us!!!"

""Barack Obama’s campaign has rejected the support of the New Black Panther Party, after removing an endorsement by the group from its Web site Wednesday.""

....Black panther leader: “We believe that Black People should not be forced to fight in the military service to defend a racist government that holds us captive and does not protect us. We will not fight and kill other people of color in the world who, like Black People, are being victimized by the white racist government of America,”

...."Black Panther leader: "The group’s message said it is backing Obama because he “represents ‘positive change’ for all of America. Obama will stir the ‘Melting Pot’ into a better ‘Molten America.’”

....Isn't that nice.
Kinda sounds like obamas pastor doesn't it? You know ..the guy that obama says is his life mentor?

IT'S GETTING PLENTY OBAMA UP IN HERE!!
MORE SOON! lOTS MORE!!

BRUTHA OBAMAS GONNA LECTURE US ON RACE!

Well, it seems as though Brutha Obama is going to give us a speech about race.
What I expect? I expect it to be a good speech. The man is good at turning a phrase. A good teleprompter reader. Good at dealing with things when there aren't any follow up questions.
I think it will be a good speech.

Do I expect it to 'go away'? No.
I expect it to dog him for a loooooong time. There are just too many questions. Why did he stay in this church? He is telling us that he has NEVER heard these views before? AFTER 20 YEARS???

Please.

How long till we see a video of him nodding his head in approval to what the good rev was preaching?
several several years ago...a very high profile of obamas by the name of oprah winfrey, joined that same church....and left. Too controversial. Too divisive. Too extreme.
So I guess she would have the same problem as obama...a question of JUDGMENT. Due to her knowing about this and STILL supporting obama.

BAD JUDGMENT.

Would you not say that it shows BAD JUDGMENT to not know? OR to know and not care enough to stop going?
Or bad judgment to take your CHILDREN to this church?

Doesn't fly.

The dems are stuck..Stuck because I think that theres no turning around from a candidate that will get the nomination, a nominee that they didn't vet at all.

"Its going to get all obama up in here"....indeed.

The candidate of change. The candidate of hope....the candidate that 'TRANSCENDS' RACE.

Its going to get more interesting, isn't it? Sure is..because there is so much more coming.

Can't wait for the speech !

EDIT: He's late......well...can't rush the lefts messiah. (sigh)
Maybe he's getting some last minute counseling from his life mentor pastor Jeremiah wright.

("Don't be nervous! Think of whitey in their underpants").. type of stuff

I see.....

that my old nutty A.D.D friend from once upon a time has posted a response to me (at least I think its me :) on his lil site. It reminded me why I liked to argue with him..mainly because it was sooooo easy. Like shooting flea bitten monkeys in a barrel. The thoughts and responses just kind of wrote themselves.(kinda unfair really).
So I see ya countsy..I'll respond to you at some point. Not now though because I'm having just a BALL with some sensory overload regarding this obama pastor thing. Theres just SOOO much to listen to. But soon. Until then? Lets take a look at this little gem of a video and see who obama, his pastor and congregation have given the 'lifetime achievements award' to...

Good stuff from the man who touts his "good judgment".
Indeed.

ITS ABOUT TO GET OBAMA UP IN HERE!

This is what I'm talking about! Go Barack!

democrat primaries.....

WHEW!!
I am having a BLAST watching the democrat primaries !
I am. I truly have been having a blast. heres why..

The latest being the "outrage" at republicans for 'crossing over' to vote for Hillary in the Texas and Ohio primaries. NOW they call foul? NOW??Oh but when dems do it (in the guise of the label 'independent' voters), to cross over to cause trouble in republican primaries...oh THEN its hunky dorey. ..indeed.
But lets be honest, just a little bit...the republican 'crossover' did very little to affect the vote in Texas or Ohio.
I personally was hoping for Hillary..not because I think one socialist will be any easier to beat than the other socialist. But simply because I want it to drag on.. and on and on.
Because the more it drags on, the more it will be very very VERY....revealing.

1) We will see the candidates of 'change' using the same tactics and methods that have always been used to win. The same politics of personal destruction. The same knives and razors used from those that are preaching a NEW way of doing things. A ''change' from politics as usual. From BOTH of them.
Both of them.
NAAASSST-TEHHHHHHHH!

2) We see them being frustrated...by their own tactics. Democrats getting caught up in an awful net that they have created where anything thats said is called "racist". "sexist","negative"......
And they are stuck. Stuck.
Democrat against democrat. Caught up in a bitter, awful, WONDERFUL shreading....due to their own mindsets.
Heres more examples:

3) Florida and Michigan :
Now once upon a time in a land called Florida...there was a cry that 'EVERY VOTE MUST COUNT!"
Now..here we are with delegates that wont be 'counted' because the dems have setup their primaries to be bureaucratic nightmares....So every vote must count? It appears that thats exactly what I thought it meant back in2000 where they are concerned....a bunch of hooey.

4) ELECTORAL COLLEGE:
Ye old matron of victim hood, Hillary..claimed once upon a time...that they should DO AWAY with the electoral college...
And now...here she is....depending on it for political survival..Electoral collage in a different name. "SUPER DELEGATES"

***YUMMY**

Which breaks down to : all you voters don't mean spit. Because if you fuck up we'll straighten you out."
Tis the 'democrat' way. Elitist.. "screw you, we know better"

***YUMMY**

5) DEM PRIMARIES:
The longer it goes on..the more we see how and what they love...bureaucracies.
The republican primaries have been done for a little while. With some controversy, as John McCain is not everyones cup of chai tea...But they've made their peace with it and are rallying around him..slowly but surely...A winner is a winner. Forward.
By contrast...The dems primaries are a bureaucratic mess! Laid out in the most inept way, in the most incompetent way. That NO winner can break through ! The numbers aren't there for either one of these bozos.It....is......a......mess.

**YUMMY!!***

Even the simplest things are turned into an elitist chaotic pile of bureaucratic poo !
And thats very very VERY revealing. THIS being THEIR primary. THEIR dance. You would think that it would move at least...a TAD more smoothly?
How....HOW IN THE WORLD are these two..either ONE of them...going to do in office? When they cant even do their primaries correctly? Smoothly.

In the process...I've seen them ...the dems get caught up in their own nets. The nets that they usually have for their opponents. "your a racist!" your negative!" hater hater masterbater!"

...here I sit...In the past year...I've seen the racists comments such as: " "you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,""

And who made this statement?...tom delay? Bush? no...
A democrat...by the name of BIDEN.

I've seen democrats getting thrown out of campaigns and being stunned because their own tactics are being used against them by....OTHER democrats! "HOW DO YOU FIGHT ...YOUR OWN PEOPLE using YOUR OWN TACTICS AND RHETORIC!!

I've also seen the dems, both Hilary AND the great messiah obama...actually CHANGE the way they speak (in reality)when they speak to a group of blacks.

truly...truly......disgusting. But very VERY revealing.

therefore....
**YUMMY!!** because it speaks volumes.

Hillary has to now (after hedging for awhile) toss a super delegate over the edge for being in a prostitution ring...NOW!! How come now it isn't"just a private affair"
I mean...did spitzer get caught? hmmm yeah? Was he breaking the LAW? HMM...yeeeeeeeeeeahhh?
Wouldn't this be the same as it was...say ...ten years ago?
Why not stand by your super delegate ?
I mean wheres the loyalty?
I mean comon!

**YUMMY!!**

And NOW...we will see how my candidate of 'change'...my candidate of hope and doing things more POSITIVE......how he will deal with his kooky pastor..The pastor Jeremiah Wright.
They (the obama campaign) just called Ferraro, a fellow democrat.... "racist'?
Will they call Obamas own reverend 'racist' (and he clearly is).
Oh this is just too fun...
So far..obama isn't doing too well with the 'splainin'.

And its going to get better...Much MUCH better.

Aaaaanywayyy....
The bottom line is that anyway you slice this..the longer this continues the more truth comes out.
The more revealing it becomes.....The more contrast.

At the end of the day...There they will be...both Hillary and obama.
The candidates of 'change' from the party of 'change'....
coming out of the most FUCKED up primaries in the history of primaries..bloody, with poop on both of them. Standing in a big pile of hypocrisy and irony.

And there will be McCain.

And the public will have a clear choice...Vote fore McCain?

OR...

Vote for fuck up number one (Hillary)
or fuck up number two (junior)

Put them with a fuck up congress (who has STILL a lower approval rating than 'W' !)
Who in turn, have just put on the most fucked up primary in history......

My advice?

Don't vote for the fuck ups.

McCain 2008.

EDIT: And no... I don't hate all democrats. some of my best friends are democrats and I do my very best to educate them.

Sadly, it doesn't always work..sigh....robo, robo, robo....
(you can lead an ass to water...but you can't stop him from eating his own poop...robo robo robo...sigh)

"TOP TEN MOST MISERABLE CITIES"

Forbes magazine just put out there list of "top ten most miserable cities".
Based on:

""Misery is defined as a state of great unhappiness and emotional distress. The economic indicator most often used to measure misery is the Misery Index. The index, created by economist Arthur Okun,......So we decided to expand on the Misery Index and the Misery Score to create our very own Forbes Misery Measure. We're sticking with unemployment and personal tax rates, but we are adding four more factors that can make people miserable: commute times, weather, crime and that toxic waste dump in your backyard.""

The list is as follows:

1. Detroit, MI
2. Stockton, CA
3. Flint, MI
4. New York City
5. Philadelphia, PA
6. Chicago, IL
7. Los Angeles, CA
8. Modesto, CA
9. Charlotte, NC
10. Providence, RI

The thing that is interesting to me about this list? Well...the thing that I find interestin about this very TELLING list, is that every city on it....every city, is run by, populated (largely), IN a STATE run by and populated by.....

...you guessed it.............democrats.

Now if the STATE is largely run by democrats.
and the city IN the state is largely run by democrats.
And largely POPULATED by democrats.......

.....how is it that they can be "Miserable"?
I mean, aren't they living what they would consider to be the "dream?" Is this not the life that they would chose if given the choice?
Why is it that they are in such misery, when they have everything that they could have possibly wanted? A state with a democrat government, run by democrats and populated by democrats.

The answer: democrats make everything they touch , ....everything.... worse.
And one of the ways that they do this is by trying to have the govt take on more and more of your life.
Bringing you to think that you cant do for yourself, and that you must rely on them.

Another reason:
democrats are not very authentic people. Sure, they'll tout their"green" theology all day long. But when the rubb-ah meets the road, most of these people are still choosing to drive, rather than car-pool or take one of the (unused) subway or rail systems .
Causing the massive commute times in Cali and NY.

Taxes: in these democrat 'utopia's' are sky high. Sky High.

Violent Crime: is also high. Remember! "populated largely by democrats". Aren't these supposed to be the tolerant ones? The give peace a chance crowd?
It doesn't help when many of these cities refuse to clean themselves up, and do something about the violent homeless packs, that are overrunning these cities, being abusive to the citizenry.

Housing: Prices through the roof. People can barely afford to rent, Much less BUY. Many are choosing to get OUT of these places, and as fast as possible.
California has seen more people leaving than coming INTO the state.

So I ask you, just how can this be? If your a democrat, don't you have everything that you want?
Well, you would think so, wouldn't you? But one of the things that the democrats love is our public school system, and doing the bidding of the teachers unions and keeping it exactly how it is.
Keeping the population as dumb as humanly possible. So that they can sit there, picking their nose with one hand, and scratching their heads with the other. Saying to eachother:

"Hey....isnt this what we wanted? How come things suck? How come things are not quite right? Why is it that we are miserable?"

Answer:

Your state is run by......
Your cities are run by....
You populace is largely.....
Same views.....
Same world view.....
Same policies.....
Same values......

...............misery = democrat.....

Plagerism is the sincerest form of flattery...Oh wait, thats not right...

I don't know...I think if your going to run as the candidate of "change", Dont'cha think that you might at least want to 'change' the words just a little bit. Just a little bit?! No? Yeah?

I guess its easy to make a great speech....especially when the words are someone elses.

PS: I'm back.........Let the weenies run for cover.....Or join a band. Either or.>:)

THERES NO CRYING IN BASEBAAAAALLL!!

And there is definitely no crying in the oval office!
Bad Hillary! BAD BAD BAD! Go to your room this instant. I know that there will be some people that will say "Oh wait a second Handel! Bush has gotten misty eyed more than once!" Well sure! But that has had to do with him speaking about the military or the people lost on 9-11.
Hillary is weepy eyed because what?? She's losing???? Because all she has to eat is pizza? She cant exercise enough???
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I dont know...Is this what would be considered scary to the islamo-fascists?
ummmm I'm thinkin ....no.
Is this what they are hoping for in a leader for the country that is the last best hope for the free world?

Yup.

Heres an even more hilarious thing. One of the reporters that was there said,"that there were four supporters of Obama in the crowd, that after Hillaries breakdown..said that THEY WOULD VOTE FOR HER NOW OVER OBAMA.

Amazing. Not surprising but amazing all the same.
Thats the democrat party for you.

JOKER

I tell ya....When I first learned that Heath Ledger was going to be cast as the joker....I had my jokes like everyone else. "broke back batman" yada yadda yadda..
But man..When that teaser trailer came out at comic con....No visual other than the sparks bustin up the bat symbol, but over it was dialogue. The end was that of Heath ledgers rendition of the Joker.
It really made you stop. It sounded great! And the laugh was SPOT ON! PERFECT! Made me actually shiver.

I thought to myself. "HUH..maybe? NAW!!.....maybe???????"
When the real actual trailer came out a few weeks ago, Actually showing Heath ledger as the Joker ...in action. OH CRAP! It was beautiful! Just FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL!!!
He was amazing! If you haven't seen it (as if your hiding under a rock), check it out in hi def:

http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/deathtrap/default.htm

Brilliant. I'm begining to think that Nolan is a Genius.
The way the joker doesn't flinch when the pod is coming right at him and just turns his head to watch it go by him....Oh man. Thats good stuff.
Enjoy. And count the days right along with me....... till showtime!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Luke 2:8-14

“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

Dems to back down on war money

By ANNE FLAHERTY, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - After weeks of tough talk, Democrats appear resigned to back down again on providing money for the Iraq war.

What happened?

"Republicans, Republicans, Republicans," said Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. "The real problem here is the president and his Republican backers" who have "staked out an increasingly hard-lined position."

Indeed, with Democrats holding a razor-thin majority in the Senate and with 60 votes needed to overcome procedural hurdles, Senate Republicans were in a plum negotiating spot this month.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., insisted that if Democrats want legislation paying for government operations this year, they will have to include money for the Iraq war.

"Do Republicans have a tough stance on funding the troops in the field? Yes," said McConnell's spokesman, Don Stewart. "Because we made a commitment to the troops overseas to give them the training and equipment and support that they need."

Democrats now are expected to allow Senate Republicans to attach tens of billions of dollars for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to a $500 billion-plus government-wide spending bill. That move would be in exchange for GOP support on the huge spending measure.

The war money would not be tied to troop withdrawals, as Democrats want. But it would let Democrats wrap up their long-unfinished budget work and go on vacation before Christmas. It also would spare them from criticism during the holiday recess by President Bush for leaving work without providing money for the troops.

Without the money, the Defense Department said it would start delivering pink slips to thousands of contractors this month.

The plan caps off a disappointing year for Democrats on Iraq. The party had taken control of Congress for the first time since 1994, seizing on the public's frustration with the war. Even with their election victory, the slim margins in the Senate have rendered Democrats powerless in trying to bring troops home.

"We've tried maybe a dozen times" to bring troops home, said Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. "And when we do try and we don't succeed, we still provide funding for the troops."

Such talk runs contrary to the rhetoric just three weeks ago by other Democratic leaders.

Senate Republicans were blocking a $50 billion bill that would have paid for combat operations and set a goal of bringing troops home by December 2008. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told reporters the House would not respond by sending Bush the bill he wanted, without conditions on withdrawal.

If efforts fail in the Senate, "we're not going to be taking it up anymore over here," she said at a Nov. 15 news conference.

The measure fell by a 53-45 vote in the Senate, seven short of the 60 needed. Afterward, Reid said the House "has made their position clear" and suggested the Senate would not revisit the issue.

"We're going to continue to do the right thing for the American people by having limited accountability for the president and not a blank check," he said. Because the Army has enough money through mid-February, he said, "everyone should rest with a good conscience."

Other Democrats stuck to that line.

"The days of a free lunch are over," said Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

Rep. David Obey, D-Wis., chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, said: "If the president wants that $50 billion released, all he has to do is to call the Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, and ask him to stop blocking it."

But facing an uphill battle, the House is now expected to vote as early as Tuesday on the catchall spending measure and an estimated $30 billion for Afghanistan and some domestic military requirements. The bill would not initially include money for Iraq, until it makes its way to the Senate and faces the threat of a GOP filibuster. That is when Reid is expected to allow a vote on a Republican amendment to add the Iraq money.

The House is expected to accept the deal.

"Certainly the Senate remains an obstacle," said Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami. "We hope the Senate takes up and passes the bill as approved by the House."

I'm back, so lets talk "WRITERS STRIKE"

Writers strike.

Well it looks as if the studios are trying to rip off the writers. The beef is (partially) that the writers don't feel as if they are getting their fair share of the pie when it comes to things like the fees that writers receive when the content they create is distributed on the Internet.

And the studios are chincing where they can.
question?

Do ya care? Do ya?
Let me see if I totally understand this. The writers are complaining that they are not getting enough ducket when things go internet. So the Union says strike. Let me tell you who I do feel bad for. I feel bad for the folk, good decent folk that are caught between bastard #1 (studios) and Bastard#2 (writers)
People such as the craft folk. People that don't have anything to do with the writers or studio heads. Those are the people that are totally screwed.

Now I know that there are writers that make the high end of the money scale and there are writers that are at the low end of the pay scale. As with ANYTHING. But let me tell you, IF you are living in California and you have any sort of benefits package with the studio that you are working for...that covers you and your family...
What in the hell are you doing by going on strike?

But Handel...shouldn't the writers FIGHT to get what they deserve?
Well sure. But one problem that I have with unions, is that they are every bit as self serving and asinine as the studios they go up against. They are bull headed, stubborn and push too far.
Who are the people hurt?
Well they are the very people that they (Unions) are supposed to represent.
Who is the brain child that said..."Guh huh! I think that it would be a great idea to go on strike right BEFORE CHRISTMAS?"

Ooooo thats smart. Thats good thinkin'. Thats a Union head.

The writers:

Now how bout the writers. You have a job that tons of people would look at as a dream job. Your bitching because you aren't getting some extra ducket based off internet distribution.
As I said, If you are at the top of the pay scale of writers and you have benefits through your studio, you are blessed. IF you are at the middle to lower end and you have benefits, You are blessed. If you get paid on time you are really really blessed! If you really are ticked at how things are done in Hollywood. Well.....WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD! Are ya new here?

I personally don't think that this is coming from the middle to lower end of the pay scale writer. I think those people are more concerned about getting and keeping the jobs and going up in pay with experience and time. I think this comes from the union heads, who are looking at everyone that this strike will effect and thinking that they can use this for leverage.
A sort of hostage type of scenario.

And those craft people, gaffers, light people, make up, set and props, etc....are the ones that are feeling it.

My solution?:

FIRE THEM ALL. Give those writers that want it, a chance to get back in studio and get to work..If they opt not to, ....out.
Get new writers. Writers are a dime a dozen. There are some great ones out there just waiting for their clarion call. Waiting for their shot. Their moment to prove themselves.
IF you cant find great writers, then......well get crappy writers. Its tv for petes sake. Whose going to notice?

Which leads me to this.

Tv is so awful. Most of the stuff on there is just plain crap. Crap. As far as I'm concerned the longer the strike goes on, the less new crap will be out there. Maybe it will force us to get off of our fat butts, put the cheetos down and...Oh I don't know. Heres a novel idea...GO OUTSIDE?
RIDE A BIKE?
TAKE A WALK?
REDISCOVER WHAT YOUR FAMILY LOOKS LIKE?

I mean really? Who really needs tv? When studies show that we are spending upwards of 24 hours a week in front of the tube??? 24 hours A WEEK???

Jeeeze.

The "STARS":

So I see that the stars are coming up to bat for the struggling writers. Danny Glover, Tim Robbins, etc etc etc. All there to lend their support.
Heres what I find kinda funny. Most of these clowns are the ones out there complaining about the rich and wanting to redistribute wealth. They're socialists.
Why don't they give a little? Give some of THEIR money to offset the writers plight.
Follow your own philosophies.
They wont. Because they are Hollywood, and they don't really believe the crap that they spew. And as for standing with the writers. Well thats nonsense. Its just another role for them. Another "part". It is another act of TYPICAL narcissism. Just to look THE PART of someone that gives a damn. (they don't).

I dont know folks. I say the less tv the better.
Now I have my favorites. "24", "hero's", "lost", etc...but, I can give it up if need be.

Maybe its a good thing for the country. To turn it off. And discover, that life..REAL life is so much more interesting than life in the lil box.

Certainly better written.
